Terms of Service.

Last revised: 2026. By submitting a top-up you accept these terms.

1. The service

Checkbuscard (the "Service") is an online top-up bridge for the Abu Dhabi public-transport smart card. We take your card serial and amount, charge the bank card you submit, and post the credit to the linked card account. We do not issue smart cards, we do not operate any transit network, and we do not maintain a wallet on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and permitted to use the Visa or Mastercard you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy of the smart-card serial — typos result in failed top-ups that we cannot unilaterally recover from the transport authority.

3. Fees

The top-up is processed at the amount you confirm on the recharge page. We do not add fees afterwards. Your bank may apply its own foreign-exchange or processing charge — that is outside our control.

4. Confirmation and delivery

The credit is typically posted within seconds of payment approval. We do not guarantee a delivery window narrower than 24 hours. After 24 hours, a top-up that has not arrived is treated as undelivered and is processed under the refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to test stolen payment cards, payment cards used without the holder's consent, to launder funds, or to top-up smart cards that you have reason to believe are blocked. We cooperate with banks and law-enforcement when fraud is reported.

6. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the disputed top-up. We are not liable for consequential losses (missed connections, late commute charges accrued at the gate, etc.).

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The "last revised" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Material changes are announced on the home page banner for at least 14 days.

8. Contact
